Have you ever boycotted anyplace or anything?

I gotta say I don't think I ever boycotted anything in my life. I dunno though... Maybe we all should once in awhile. In this case I refer to Chick-fil-A. An up and coming popular chicken franchise. You may not have one in your area. I actually have one located no more than 5 minutes away from me.

After reading about Chk-fil-A's questionable history and recent events I'm not sure anymore... Not that I even go there often. Can't remember the last time I did. There's always better places for me to go to like Wawa, Subway.... Maybe order some Llama burgers from Exotic Meat Market.

Not only are the statements anti-gay but there's an arrogance factor that comes off that annoys me just as much. This is why any corporation, no matter how large or small should ever take these sorts of stances and announce these types of statements. Junk food juggernauts like McDonalds and Subway would never pull this kind of shit (let's hope not). Regardless of the President's values or lack there of.

Another thing that annoys me even more are the masses of ignorant dunderheaded jack asses that back Chick-fil-A's stance by saying the most asinine things. So those would be the people standing in the lines next to me while I wait to order food? In a way it's statements actually draws in more of a certain type of customer. Count me out.

Like I said I rarely ate there anyway so does my boycott really matter since I was never a big Chick-fil-A customer in the first place? What happens is the next place turns out to be Subway, Sonic or my beloved Wawa? I got to Wawa weekly. Let's say it is Subway for whatever the controversial reason it is and I still ate there cause I would eat there all the time. Could I really say shit about Chick-fil-A then? By the way. the chain is closed on Sunday. Yep. Sunday. See my Sunday rant below. Are you surprised?

I'm only taking about Food chain's too. There's more than food chains that could be brought up. So what do you guys think?

The day of Sunday.

So it's Wednesday and I'm doing my laundry. Is that weird? Ty and I were having a discussion about the normal laundry day. Does it really matter what day it falls on?

What law states that laundry day must be reserved for the weekend? Sunday in particular. What is it about the day of Sunday? Does laundry have something to do with God? Are we washing away the weeks worth of sin from our clothes to start anew? Is that how it works?

Also, why do all the Beer warehouses (PA stores) close at 6pm on Sunday? A few hours earlier than the rest of the weeks normal business hours. I mean come on! They even give you a little wine at Church Sunday but if you run a little late going out to do some Sunday errands you get booze screwed cause all the stores are closed? This makes no sense to me. Stop that!

And also! Why the hell does Sunday begin the new week? Who fucking made this rule up!? It makes no sense to me. Sunday. The last day of the Weekend. The day before the "busy" week begins. Begins! Sunday feels like the end of the week. Not just for the people who have to go back to School. For the working man/woman who has to go back to work. Obviously Sunday feels like the end of a week. Not the beginning.

In conclusion. I'll do my laundry on any day I feel like it. That's right. I'm breaking the laundry day code and I don't give a fuck. I'll have more than just a sip of wine from a chalice if I feel like it. For me. Sunday will always be the end of the week. Monday will always be the beginning.

What a narcissistic asshole of a day. Get over yourself Sunday.
