Just another typical Dog Walk.... or is it!?

So @Tyny_Ty 's apartment is in a nice gated community. All of the apartments are the same and the sidewalks run all the way through. It's pretty nice actually.

Even though it's nice I feel like there's a good safe side and then a dangerous creepy side. Our place being on the good side near the main gates where the community pool and exercise room is.

Took Bailey out for a walk throughout the small community tonight so we could explore this whole place and learn our surroundings. Bailey and I prefer late night walks due to Nevada having a hotter summertime than Hell itself.

So we were out there last night checking things out. It's 2 am so it's nice and quiet. Nobody's out there's nice night lighting all over and the one good thing about the desert is cooler night's.

The further we walk and further we get from our place we start to notice those small things. A broken light here a baseball bat in the back of a pickup Truck here. Hmmm.

So Bailey and I are about to turn a corner and walk down one of the alley ways when all of a sudden my eye's spot a pack of wild Cat's blocking the path of the sidewalk. I swear there must have been fifty of em'. Or maybe just five who knows.....

These Cats all glared at us. I just stopped and looked as they all seemed completely unafraid of me and my Dog, small as he may be he's still a Dog. The Cats' glares at us seem to say, how dare you outsiders encroach on our turf. You had best leave now unless you want to get fucked up.

We started to back away and as we did the biggest fattest Cat of the bunch actually started to follow us. I've never been encountered by a pack of predators on an African Safari before but this seemed just as scary. Maybe even worse. I kept walking back toward the main sidewalk near one of the Parking lots but the big black and white Cat kept pursuing us.

Just when we got back to the Parking lot far enough from where the Cat seemed to be losing interest in us I turn around to go around to continue our walk and almost bump into a Troll like creature. At least I think it was a troll.... It about four feet tall and I unable to identify the sex of the creature. It also had a small dog with it, unleashed and seemed unclean.

Fearing for my safety and my Dog's I attempted to exchange pleasantries with the small elf like..... Woman? Perhaps a Woman type creature in her 30's... She smiled and attempted to speak the English language. The Troll woman's dog began to get more curious over the healthier looking Dog who was attached to this magical string that I was holding.

Thinking it was time to make my exit, yet again I told Ms. Troll creature to have a good night and thought that would be the end of it. I was wrong. Before I could fully turn to leave the Troll Elf lady asked me if I had any drugs on me to which I responded no and made a hasty exit down the sidewalk. I believe the gang of Cats could belong to her even though most likely feral.

As Bailey and I got closer to the front side of the Apartment complex things just seemed to get nicer and safer again. Less trash on the ground. No baseball bats in the back of pickup Tucks. No street gangs of wild Cats or troll like creature's. I looked up at the Moon and the Moon gave me a smile and a wink. Even the Moon knew I was out of immediate danger. Thanks Moon breh!

The next few months are gonna be full of interesting night walks that's for sure. Next time I'll have to remember to bring my camera. I have a feeling I'll be seeing more cat's, trolls and who knows what else in the night's to come.
